Integrated Mind–Body Support with Karen Porter

My private 1–1 work is distinct from group classes and studio programmes.


This is slow, intentional, practitioner-led work designed to support physical strength, emotional regulation, and nervous system resilience.


It is for women who want depth — not quick fixes.

What This Work Is?

In 1–1 settings, I work at the intersection of:

  • Therapeutic, Pilates-informed strength

  • Trauma-informed coaching

  • Breathwork and fascial release

  • Nervous system regulation


Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we work with the whole system — body, mind, and lived experience — allowing change to happen in a way that feels safe, sustainable, and lasting.

You don’t need to be “fit”, flexible, or experienced. You do need to be open to working with your body as part of the process.

why this work is different?

I run a full studio programme of classes at LifeWorks. My private work is different. In 1–1 settings, I work slowly and deeply, bringing together my full training and experience. This is where physical strength meets emotional safety — and where real, sustainable change happens.

Founder of LifeWorks Studio & Practitioner of Integrated Mind–Body Work

I’m Karen Porter, founder of LifeWorks Studio. For over two decades, I’ve worked with thousands
of clients through movement, coaching, and one-to-one support, helping people feel stronger — not
just physically, but emotionally and mentally too.

My work is shaped by extensive training in Pilates, strength, coaching, breathwork, and fascial
release, alongside deep experience in understanding how stress, trauma, and life experiences affect
the nervous system and the body. I also bring my own lived experience — of change, challenge, and
rebuilding — which allows me to meet clients with empathy, insight, and clarity.

 

LifeWorks is the result of everything I’ve learned: a calm, intelligent approach to strength and
healing that supports real, lasting change.
